How I’m Using the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle Resources to Help My Hashimoto’s

I found my answer and it's called Hashimoto's

I don’t know about you, but I am just plum sick and tired of being sick and tired.  I have been praying a lot about what direction I should take with my thyroid treatment. It can be so discouraging and so isolating sometimes. However, whenever I make a change (in diet or supplements, etc.), I do often notice small improvements. Each day that I wake up with a little more energy, or have a little less brain fog, or loose a little less hair in the shower, or drop a little bit of this darn thyroid weight-gain, I gain hope.  I still believe God is going to heal me from this to His glory.  How is He going to do it?  I don’t know.  It could be supernaturally like I have experienced in the past when I was immediately healed of endometriosis.  Or it could be slowly over time using the gifts He has given us such as real food, herbs, essential oils, etc.

Right now there is a bundle sale going on.  You have probably heard me talk about it already. (Hello, it’s all I’ve been blogging about. Sorry about that, I promise this will be the last post!) But it is full of amazing resources.  I wanted to show you how I am using these resource to help me on my healing journey.

***Before I go on, if you are unfamiliar with this sale, today is the last day that you can purchase it. It’s a complete healthy living library with over 80 eBooks, 7 eCourses, and 10 bonuses for a combined value of over $1000.***

How I’m Using These Resources For My Hashimoto’s Journey

Diet

Probably the hardest part of this journey right now is diet.  7 weeks ago I finally gave in and went grain free and dairy free.  However, this makes meal times hard on the rest of my family who do not have any desire or need to be grain free and dairy free. I find myself either preparing two different meals every. single. day.  Or making a huge batch of one thing and eating that for every meal while I make “normal” food for my family. My fatigue (and children) make it hard for me to be in the kitchen all day long, and I’ve found I’ve lost all motivation to meal plan because meals just haven’t been fun.

Imagine my utter joy when I found these eBooks in the Bundle:

Allergy-Free[1] Allergy-Friendly-Comfort-Food[1] Grain-Free-Goodies[1] Grain-Free-Grab-n-Go[1] Grain-Free-Meal-Plans[1] Well-Fed-2[1]

This bundle contains over 1,000 gluten-free recipes with many of those being grain-free as well.  Let me tell you how excited I am to have some NEW recipes from authors I trust that my whole family will enjoy.  I am going to print these recipes and make notes on them as I try them out.  These books take some of the pressure off that I’ve been feeling lately.

Hint: Once you download the PDFs, if you go into Adobe Reader and select Edit at the top of the screen, you can then choose Advanced Search which will give you the option to do a search through ALL of your eBooks at the same time.  I sometimes do this using terms like “ground beef” or “cookies” to see what recipes I have in those categories without having to go through each book individually.

Health

This book has been a game changer for me in understanding my metabolism (which is definitely affected by the thyroid).  I’m only on the fifth chapter, but I have already identified some small things I have been doing that have been damaging to my metabolism.  I can’t wait to finish this book and to make some more changes towards better thyroid (and body) health!

The Nourished Metabolism

The Nourished Metabolism

This book has a lot of valuable information on how to fight different infections/ailments naturally.  With the autoimmune aspect of Hashimoto’s I have to be really protective of my gut bacteria. This means I need to avoid antibiotics unless absolutely necessary.  Therefore, it’s nice to have a bunch of trustworthy, research-based resources on hand to turn to when sickness occurs.

Herbal-Preparations[1]

Essential oils have played a huge part in the health improvements I’ve made so far.  There are many that are excellent for thyroid health.  Part of this bundle includes an essential oils eCourse from the highly respected Vintage Remedies. The course is usually $95. Considering I never have an extra $95 lying around, I’m jumping for joy that I have the opportunity to take it with this bundle.  Here is what the website says about this course:

Tired of getting conflicting information on essential oil safety and appropriate uses? Get the facts on how you can use essential oils in your home for healthy living, medicinal benefits, and a wellness focused lifestyle with a practical approach to aromatherapy in this online course. The program includes a close look at 12 different essential oils, an evidence based look at potential interactions and contraindications, and step-by-step instructions for dozens of useful and effective household must-haves ranging from body care products to natural medicine.

This course covers the use of essential oils in body care, as antimicrobials, for green living, in traditional aromatherapy, and even addresses the myths and facts surrounding the controversial internal use of these potent oils! Course content is delivered in the interactive student portal through audio lectures, PDF downloads, video demonstrations, interactive quizzes, and a personal course instructor for feedback, guidance, and encouragement! Once you begin, you’ll have a full 90 days to access the course content, which includes reviews of scientific studies and over 45 aromatherapy formulas for natural health. (source)

Fitness

I am not really one for exercising.  I know it’s important, but I never realized how important it is for thyroid health.  Did you know that exercise can actually boost levels of T3 and T4? (source)  When I read that I realized that despite my fatigue and busy schedule, I really needed to make exercise a priority.  A gym membership isn’t practical and I am not a runner, but, this bundle has a free 4 month membership to Stay At Home Yoga as one of its bonuses.  With this program I can exercise on my own time from the comfort of my own living room. Now let’s just hope I actually stick with this one! 😉sahm-yoga

Other Things

photo (20)If you look at the picture above, another of the bonus items is an amber bracelet.  I have found a lot of sources online that say amber helps support thyroid function.  However, I have not found any actual research to back up that statement.  I am still curious to try it, however, to see if I notice any benefit.  It doesn’t hurt since it was free (minus shipping).

Actually all of those bonuses above are helpful for reducing toxins (important with Hashimoto’s) and promoting health.  The ViraMune that I got with my $15 gift certificate to Trilight health dramatically shortened a cold in my kids and I’m happy to have it on hand since another problem with Hashimoto’s is a reduced immune system and greater susceptibility to sickness and infection.

These are just some of the many resources in the bundle that I am personally going to use to support my health.    There is something for practically everyone and every need.  It truly is a well curated library of healthy living information and resources.

If you want more information about this bundle, you can read about it here.  Today is the last day of the sale forever, it will not be coming back. If you are on the fence at all, I encourage you to purcahse it.  There is a 1 year guarantee, so if you aren’t thrilled with it, you can get your money back. If you decide that you would benefit from this bundle and would like to purchase through my link, be sure to send a copy of your receipt to simplelifeabundantlife (at) gmail (dot) com.  I would love to share my commission with you by sending you an Amazon gift card. 🙂
